After facing some failures Dhanush is back once again in his track. Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar the movie has Dhanush, Trisha and Anupama in the lead. Music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and every songs started ruling everyone playlist from the date of its release. Movie produced by Vetri Maran. The film also features S. A. Chandrasekhar, Saranya Ponvannan , Kaali Venkat, Singamuthu, Namo Narayana and G. Marimuthu in supporting roles.
The movie is a local political film which deals with the story of young politician and it clearly says it is not easy to enter politics but once we enter into it then it is difficult to sustain.

Story Line :

For the first time, Dhanush plays a dual role –one is a powerful politician named Kodi and the other is an upright young man named Rishi. The film features actress Trisha Krishnan as Rudra who is the politician and love interest of Kodi and another actress Anupama Parameswaran will be seen as Malathy who likes the Rishi.
The movie deals with the struggle and battle of farmers and people with government due to unwanted projects like Kudankulam nuclear power plant, Methane extraction project and Gail pipeline project in Tamil Nadu.
Here the director has taken the Kudankulam nuclear power project in hands and executed it in an outstanding way. The screenplay is the highlight of the movie. You can encounter all sort of flavours like romance, action, sentiment and all.Kodi ends with how the brothers put an end to that project in an interesting and engaging style.
Dhanush has performed brilliantly in the movie and showed variations between the characters. Trisha on the other side has given weightage to the script. Anupama Parameswaran has done justice to her character.

SA Chandrasekhar as an antagonist steals the show. The conflicting scenes between politician Kodi and Chandrasekhar are gripping and classy ones. Santhosh Narayanan’s BGM is outstanding. The film shows the real face of politicians.
